What should I do when the compass is blocked and does not show any direction?

To unlock the compass you must pass the magnet through the area of the battery and along the antennas of the receiver

Another option, if you have vehicle roof antenna, connect your receiver to the feeder vehicle and calibrate the compass: Menu> Options R2> Calibrate Compass (without moving the receiver). Once you have done it, leave the car and recalibrate the compass as usual.
