How does the GPS works in the R2 RBT/Finder?

In the receiver R2 Finder the GPS signal travels together with the Radio tracking, so when we cannot take radio tracking, we won’t get any kind of communication and therefore there won’t be any GPS signal.  Anyway there is a fist circle of GPS coverage and a second one wider with radio tracking coverage, which allows us to move towards the area the transmitter is and re-enter into the GPS area again.

The attached diagram shows the communication process between receiver and transmitter.
